Is It True filly blows-out in :21 at OBS under tack Hip No. 586, a chestnut filly by Is It True, posted a final time of :21 when working a quarter-mile at the second under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. The Florida-bred lass, who is the first registered foal out of the unraced Lady Blue Eyes (Tiger Ridge), was the quickest at the distance for Wednesday's session. Consigned by Circle D Thoroughbreds, she brought $5,000 as an OBS August yearling, and hails from the same family as multiple Group 1 winner Crimson Waves (Bush Telegraph). A bay filly by Omega Code breezed the fastest three furlongs in :33 3/5 for consignors Tony Bowling and Bobby Dodd, agent. Out of multiple stakes winner and Grade 3-placed Laurica (Tactical Advantage), the Florida-bred miss is from the same family as Group 1 hero Suntain (Snippets) and will enter the sale's ring as Hip 614. Four juveniles tied for the quickest eighth when breezing in :10. Florida-bred CHOICE CAT (Deputy Wild Cat), consigned by Hendry Training Stables LLC, agent, as Hip 382, is out of Gold Choice (Bratcher's Choice). Hip 412, a dark bay colt by Pure Precision, is out of the unraced Half Gold (Half a Year) and brought only $1,000 as an OBS October weanling. He is consigned by Woodside Ranch, agent. A gray filly by Buddha also posted two furlongs in :10. The Kentucky-bred lass is out of Judith's Gamble (Prospectors Gamble) and brought $10,500 from consigner Cecil and Ojia Stewart, agent, at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. She is consigned as Hip 531. A bay colt by Black Mambo rounded out the quickest runners at a furlong. Consigned by Nick de Meric, agent, as Hip 638, he is out of Listentothebells (Allen's Prospect). The Florida-bred is from the same family as Grade 3 winner Chin High (Smart Strike). The third under tack show will get underway at 9 a.m. (EDT) on Thursday with Hips 691-1036. The sale is scheduled to being Monday at 10:30 a.m. and continue through next Thursday.
