On Wed Apr 30 we had two more HTW winners, CHADLINGTON (IRE) in the 1st @ $6.80 and EXUMA in the 4th @ $12.60. Our clocker certainly wasn't left out of the party with winners MADEO and TOUGH TIZ'S SIS from our Fit and Ready list, as well as a number of other workout pushes including the Philadelphia shipper TISSY FIT in the 3rd race on Thur May 1 with a "very good drill...sitting on a big race" Grade B+ work. She paid $21.20 to win. *** *** We kicked off the Belmont meet with some nice winners on Wed Apr 30. CLOUD NINE won the 4th race with a nice "looked good all the way" Grade B workout prior to his last race and paid $18.60. In the 5th race DRIFT KING had two recent good Grade B works and won paying a whopping $66.00. The feature was won by DIVINE PARK with a Grade B work prior to his last race beating the 3-5 favorite and paying $7.90. The HR Horses to Watch list from our Trip Notes has been hot lately. On Wed Apr 30 at HP CHADLINGTON (IRE) stepped up in class and won the 1st race nicely at $6.80. EXUMA won the 4th race paying $12.60. On Sun Apr 27 HTW lister SENSITIVE SOUL won the 10th and paid $10.80. On Sat Apr 26 ALL MONEY NO LOVE won the 9th paying $15.00. On Thur Apr 24 the 4th race was won by WILD MCDREAMIE paying $10.00. *** *** Super info from our Daily Clocker’s Report on Sat Apr 19 at Santa Anita. As good as it gets for longshot winners. We had 2 Fit and Ready horses running, in the 7th and 8th races. They both had Grade A- workouts and won, STONESIDE (IRE) paying $31.80 and PETITE CHERIE (IRE) paying $30.00. With ARNONE winning the 6th race with a Grade B+ work @ $19.60, the pick 3 for races 6,7,8 paid $2,583.50. In the 1st race, a 1st time starter, FLASHOVER, with a Grade B+ work got up and paid $15.20 to win. *** *** The Horses to Watch list has been really hot. On Sun Mar 23 at Santa Anita we had two winners from the list including NICOLE'S IMAGE in the 4th race paying $14.80. On Sat Mar 22 HTW's won the 5th, 6th and 7th races. The winner of the 5th GREAT SIEGE (IRE) also had a recent Grade A- workout in which our clocker noted he "is ready for the winners circle". In the last race on Sat 1st time starter RUNNIN ONASUGARHI had a Grade B workout back at the end of Dec at HP in which our clocker noted “this one seems to be on the improve”. He got up and paid $15.00. In the 3rd DESERT CODE had a recent Grade B+ work with the comments: “final 1/8 in a sharp 11.4; a very good move as he appears to be sitting on a big one”. He pulled away in the stretch and paid $12.00. On Fri Mar 21 the 2nd baby race of the year was won by TURBO CALL with a Grade B workout in which it was noted “a nice drill for these two as they both appear to be the win-early types”. He paid $17.40 to win. On Sat Mar 22 at Aqueduct BLACKSMITH BOB won the 2nd with a Grade B drill paying $9.90 and AUGUST REX won the 10th with a Grade B paying $15.80. On Thurs Mar 20 KING RUSH won the 3rd with a Grade B paying $22.80. *** *** On Sun Mar 16 at Santa Anita in Race 2 1st time starter SUPERCARCHY had 2 Grade B works including a slow 5/8 mile in 102.3 in which he "picked it up nicely...traveling the final 3/8 in a sharp 36.2; a good move as this one definitely was doing better late than early". He flew late to get up @ $65.00 to win. Super day for HR at SA Sat Mar 15. We pushed all 3 of the big price winners in the $214K pick 6. In the 6th we had the $89.60 winner FOLLOW MY MOON with a Grade B workout in company that was a good work despite the slow final time of 102.1. That’s why players need our reports. Time means nothing in a work. It’s how the work was accomplished that matters. We also had two Horses to Watch winners from our Trip Notes, including POLONIUS who won the 8th @ $19.80. The last race was won by first time starter and Fit and Ready lister CREDIBILITY @ $20.80 with a Grade B+ “very sharp 5/8 on a tiring racetrack…appears to be sitting on a win” and a Grade A- “appears set for a huge one in the afternoon”. At Aqueduct on Sat our Fit and Ready lister FIRST COMMANDMENT won the 8th paying $29.80. On Fri Mar 14 at SA we pushed the Eduardo Inda winner in the 5th with 3 nice Grade B workouts paying $56.40. *** *** HR info continues to produce nice winners at Santa Anita. On Mon Mar 10 we pushed 5 of the 8 winners including 2 Fit and Ready listers and a Horses to Watch lister. One of the F&R horses was a 1st time starter MAMA KNOWS BEST in the 8th with a Grade A- work for a maiden claimer. The comments included "a very, very good 5/8 as MAMA appears to have lots of talent". She won by many lengths and paid $14.40. The 7th race feature was won by DOPPIO with a Grade B+ workout with the comment "appears to be sitting on another big one". He paid $13.80 to win. On Sun Mar 9 we had pushes on 2 nice prices. Comebacker RESPECTHEOFFICER had two recent Grade B workouts "a good 1/2; he looked as if he had more left to give" and "a very nice 1/2 as OFFICER appears to be on the improve". He paid $15.40 to win. FORMAL RUSH won the 10th in a weak field with a "nice" Grade B drill and paid $16.40. On Sat Mar 8 our Horses to Watch (HTW) lister for the day was ARIEGE who won the featured Santa Anita Oaks paying $11.40. On Fri Mar 7 our HTW winner was ROSSO CORSA in the 3rd who stretched out as we were looking for and paid $23.00 to win. On Big Cap day at SA we pushed the winner of the 3 yo stakes COLONEL JOHN with 2 Grade A- and one rare Grade A works @ $5.00 and the winner of the Big Cap HEATSEEKER with a Grade B+ workout paying $16.00. Recent nice winners at Aqueduct include A ZERO TRAP on Sat Mar 8 in race 5 with a Grade B workout @ $19.80 and NKOSI REIGNS on Fri Mar 7 in race 3 with a Grade B drill @ $23.20. *** *** HR information at Santa Anita continues to be on fire. As we suspected, when there is a track to train on in the morning that doesn't change dramatically in the afternoon for the races, the workouts will tend to better reflect the expected performance in the races. They certainly have lately in So Cal. On Thurs Feb 21 in the 2nd race, the 1st time starter MAMA LUC had 2 Grade B workouts in company and drew away in the stretch paying $50.60 to win. In the 8th race 1st time starter AFLEET'S LOVE SONG with a slow, but decent Grade B workout in company won and paid $12.00 to win. On Mon Feb 18 on the huge Pick 6 carryover day, we pushed several big price winners. The 2nd was won by our Horses to Watch lister DAKOTA PADRE @ $8.60. In the 3rd FL shipper SAILOR'S SISTER had a "very, very good" Grade B+ work and turned around her poor form to win @ $14.40. The Pick 6 kicked off with GULA GOLD winning the 5th with a recent Grade B drill @ $29.60. The 10th was won by PAPARAZZI CHARM (NZ) with a Grade B workout "appears set for his best in the afternoon based on this" returning $69.60 and keying the single ticket payoff exceeding $3M. The 2nd horse was ROYAL PRANA with a recent Grade B+ work and the 3rd place finisher was LAKE MARINA with a Grade B+ prior to last race. The 2nd horse was Horses to Watch lister GREAT SIEGE (IRE) who also had nice drills from our clocker prior to his debut. The 3rd horse was SUZY'S MANDATE with a nice recent Grade B work who got off at 37-1. The tri paid $869.40. The 6th was won wire to wire by Horses to Watch lister FIVE GOLD BARS @ $12.40. *** *** The HR Trip Notes have been pointing out many recent winners. 6 Horses to Watch (HTW) listers have scored in the last 6 racing days at Santa Anita, including HIGHER POINT on Wed Feb 13 in the 2nd race paying $16.80 to win and LONELY HIGHWAY on Fri Feb 1 @ $11.80. 4 Fit and Ready listers from our Weekly Workouts report have won during that period including 1st time starter ROAR OF EAGLES on Mon Feb 11. He recorded Grade A-, B, B and B+ drills according to our HR clocker. The Grade A- work comments included "...inhaling those other workers and appearing to have a ton left; this was an excellent 6f move; anxious to see him hit the entry box." He had a ton of trouble in his debut in a $40K maiden claimer, but circled the field 8 wide into the lane and blew his foes away paying $14.40 to win. Nice claim by trainer Craig Lewis. Other big price Daily Clocker's Report winners included MOUJANE on Wed Feb 13 in the 3rd with a Grade B work @ $18.20. On Mon Feb 11 in the 4th CEE STONE won nicely with 2 Grade B drills @ $34.40. On Sun Feb 10 in the 7th INGRID THE GAMBLER won with Grade B+, B+ and A- works prior to her last race @ $20.00. On Sat Feb 9 in the 8th WELL ARMED won with a Grade A- work prior to race @ $30.20. On Fri Feb 1 PISTOL PETE AFLEET won the 7th with a Grade B @ $11.80 and NICOLE'S IMAGE won the 9th with a Grade B+ workout @ $10.80. *** *** Thu Jan 31 was a great day at SA for HR clients. HOMEMADE BREW won the 2nd as a Horse to Watch with a Grade B workout paying $5.60. The price horses really started flowing in the 3rd with POINT GIVEN winning the 3rd with a Grade B prior to last race @ $13.40. BOLD CIELO won the 4th with a Grade B drill @ the same price, $13.40. The 6th was won by PAUL'S HOPE with a Grade B prior to last race @ $12.80. VALIANT EFFORT won the 8th with recent Grade B and B+ works "set for best effort" @ 15.20. Other good workers in the 8th ran 2-3-4 with the exacta paying 34.30, the tri 258.40 and the super 1,561.40. The 9th was won by the recent Grade B worker and Horse to Watch CHOP HOUSE GEORGE paying $40.20. Other recent Horses to Watch include GAYEGO on Sun Jan 20 @ $10.20 and MY FRIEND LUIS on Sat Jan 19 @ $21.40 *** *** Nice priced HR winners are scoring at Aqueduct. On Fri Jan 25 the 6th race was won in unbelievable fashion by DOC CHENEY making up several lengths in the last few jumps. DOC' had a recent Grade B workout and paid $12.00. In the final race Fit and Ready Lister BIG IRA DAVIS had a Grade B workout in which he "put his workmate away by 7". He won by a geared down 10 lengths and paid a whopping $23.00. On Thu Jan 24 RUSHBUCKLER won the 7th with a Grade B drill and paid $11.20. On Mon Jan 21 BUSTIN STONES won easily as a Fit and Ready Lister in the 3rd. In the 8th GO GO SHOOT with a nice Grade B work went wire to wire to win by 3 and paid $21.80. *** *** Sun Jan 13 at Santa Anita was a day to be remembered by HR clients. On the Pick 6 carryover day we pushed many huge prices. In the 2nd race LOH COLLADO in his 2nd start with 2 Grade B workouts prior to his debut won paying $11.80. After INDIAN BLESSING held on to win the 4th with a Grade A- work, FINAL FLING won the 5th stakes race with a recent Grade B in which she "looked to have a lot left" and paid $23.40. The 6th race was won by CHARM N CHUCK, a Baffert 1st time starter with 7 good works including 2 Grade B+'s @ $13.40. The 7th was won by HEATHERSDADDYSBABY with 2 good works including a Grade B+ for this "improving sort...getting stronger the further she went". She ran down the leader at the wire @ $39.40. The 8th was won by ON THE VIRG who received the comment "figures to improve a ton soon" in the HR Trip Notes from his first race. He paid $12.80 to win. SILVER MOONSHINE won the 10th wire to wire @ $41.00 with a recent "nice" Grade B. We didn't have any workouts on the winner of the final leg of the Pick 6 that returned $607,518 to a single ticket, but he had a top HR Performance Rating and was given out on the Mike Willman radio show by our trip note writer Aaron Hesz. We would be surprised if it wasn't one of HR's customers that had the life changing score. *** *** A good week for double digit winners at Aqueduct. On Sat Jan 12 in the 7th ZIPPEROO with a Grade B workout scored @ $20.00 and REGAL PRINCE won the 9th with a Grade B @ $11.40. On Fri Jan 11 GLOWING IMAGE won the 7th with a good Grade B on an off surface paying $20.40. On Thurs Jan 10 our Fit and Ready lister UNBRIDLED DANGER won the 9th @ $15.20. On Wed Jan 9 MISS BUDDHAFULL won the 5th with a Grade B drill on an off track paying $24.40. Our Fit and Ready lister GATTINARA ran 2nd with the exacta paying $60.25. AWESOME I AM won the 6th race with two recent Grade B works including one on an off trace paying $14.60. BROCCO VALLEY closed out the day in the 9th @ $9.20 with a Grade B work. *** *** Two bomber winners across the country over the weekend. On Sun Jan 6 at Aqueduct in the 2nd our Fit and Ready lister SIGH YOU took them wire to wire at a handsome $44.00. At Santa Anita on Fri Jan 4 in the last race we had only one good worker that we pushed. It was the last race of the carryover pick 6 and the winner was the defining element in the huge price of $170,218.20. MY CEE VEE had a recent Grade B workout in which our clocker commented "...a decent move as this one is better than his form in the afternoon may suggest." He certainly was at $73.40. The pick 4 with $5.80, $5.80 and $9 winners paid a whopping $2,846.10. *** *** Opening day at Santa Anita Park was outstanding for the HR customers using all of our reports. We pushed 6 winners on the card including comebacking SPRING AT LAST in the 4th with a Grade B workout @ $11.60 and MONTEREY JAZZ in the 8th with a Grade B+ work @ $12.80, bet down from a 10-1 morning line. But the monster race was the 7th where we used our Performance Ratings (PR's) to select the winner JOHNNY EVES who had the highest last race PR and paid $24.00 to win. The 2nd horse was CARRILERO (ARG) with the second highest PR and a recent Grade B+ drill @ 42-1. The exacta paid a whopping $451.20. Finishing 3rd was HORSE GREELEY with a recent Grade A- work @ 15-1. The trifecta paid $8,831.50. The 4th horse was our Horse to Watch from our Trip Note reports HURRY UP AUSTIN @ 54-1. The superfecta was an astonishing $120,856.50. A pretty good way to start the long SA meet. *** *** The Hollywood Park Fall meet drew to a close on the next to last day with two nice winners on Fri Dec 21. In the 7th race 1st time starter WAAFI scored nicely with a recent nice Grade B workout in which he "appeared to be going extrememly easily through the lane...looked to have a lot more left to give" and paid $30.20 to win. Our Fit and Ready lister MR. ELROY ran 2nd with the exacta paying $92.20. The 3rd horse had a Grade B prior to last race with the trifecta paying $379.50. The 8th race was won by CAPTAIN SACTO with a Grade B "nice move here as he looked ot have a lot left" @ $21.00. Our other recent Grade B worker SEMI LOST ran 2nd with the exacta paying $38.60. The Daily Double paid $255.00. *** *** More big prices at Hollywood Park Fall Meet. On Sat Dec 8 our Horses to Watch lister FRANGIPANNI won the 2nd at a juicy $28.20. OVERBID won the 4th with a nice Grade B workout @ $24.20. In the 7th BELAFONTE won with a nice Grade B drill paying $22.60. In the 9th bomber HEATSEEKER (IRE) with a good Grade B paid $63.40 to win. Our Fit and Ready lister RACKETEER ran 2nd @ 8-1 with the exacta paying $231.30. At Aqueduct KAPER LAKE won the 7th with a Grade B work @ $19.80. *** *** Big price results at Hollywood Park Fall meeting recently. On Wed Dec 5 the 1st race was won by SARACINA with 2 recent Grade B workouts @ $21.80. The 2nd was won by PEISINOE with a recent Grade B+ @ $10.00. The Daily Double paid $112.00. BRIAN THE BOLD won the 3rd @ $5.40 with the pick 3 paying $260.80. On the rest of the card our Horses To Watch list took over with 3 winners. LIFE AT TEN won the 5th @ $3.80. In the 7th SOHGOL (IRE) won @ $9.40. In the 8th FAMILIAR STRANGER won easily @ $4.60. *** *** Nice results for HR information on both coasts on Thurs Nov 8. On the second day of the Hollywood Park Fall meeting, we had three recent Grade B works on YOU LIFT ME UP in the 3rd race who won and paid $11.40. The 7th was won by KEWEN with a Grade B work prior to race @ $15.60. We finished the day with CHICA UNA who won the 8th with a nice Grade B drill @ $20.00. At Aqueduct we cashed a nice mutuel in the 2nd with SAILOR'S CAP with several good Grade B works prior to last race @ $18.00. In the 6th Fit and Ready lister PORT ROYAL with a Grade B workout in which he outworked a teammate by 4 lengths won and paid $19.60. *** *** HR information at Oak Tree at Santa Anita on Sun Oct 28 included the winners of the Pick 6 for 72,065.60 and the late Pick 4 for 3,084.70. At the Oak Tree at Santa Anita meeting we have continued our great results from our Clocker Reports and Horses to Watch derived from our Trip Notes. On Sun Oct 21, the 4th race was won by bomber WISE MANDATE with a Grade B+ workout prior to last race @ $75.40. The 8th was won by our Fit and Ready Lister PRIME CATCH with a recent Grade A- drill @ $14.20. On Sat Oct 20 in the 1st race INFORMED beat the odds-on favorite with a recent Grade B+ work @ $8.60.
