King's Bishop upsetter Runhappy eyeing Phoenix, Twinspires
Breeders' Cup Sprint
Runhappy (Super Saver), who set a new stakes-record of 1:20.54 when upsetting Saturday's
King's Bishop at 11-1 by four lengths, will now point for the Phoenix S. (G3) on
October 2 at Keeneland, according to trainer Maria Borell.
The sophomore colt
will attempt to use the six-furlong Phoenix to earn an automatic berth into the
Twinspires Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) on October 31 at the Lexington,
Kentucky, venue.
