McCraken favored at 5-1 at close of Pool 4 in 2017 Kentucky Derby Future Wager

Unbeaten McCraken (#15), who is expected to make his second start of 2017 in the $1 million Blue Grass Stakes (G2) on April 8 at Keeneland, was bet down to 5-1 favoritism when wagering ended Sunday on the fourth and final pool of the 2017 Kentucky Derby Future Wager.
Only two other betting interests in Pool 4 closed at single-digit odds –Always Dreaming (#1) (6-1) and Gunnevera (#10) (9-1). Always Dreaming romped by five lengths to take the Florida Derby (G1) on Saturday in his stakes debut, while Gunnevera finished third as the even-money favorite in the nine-furlong contest.
