Top Weekly Brisnet Speed Ratings for Stakes December 25 – 31

From Christmas Day through New Year's Eve, a bevy of runners earned triple-digit BRIS Speed ratings in stakes to close out 2018.
The top earners were Mr. Buff and Vision Perfect, who tied with a 103 BRIS Speed rating each on December 29. Mr. Buff recorded his in the Alex M. Robb Stakes at Aqueduct while Vision Perfect wired the Janus Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
McKinzie also tied with Cordmaker for the second-highest BRIS Speed number of 102 last weekend. The Bob Baffert trainee wrapped up his sophomore campaign with an easy victory in the Malibu Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita Park the day after Christmas, while Cordmaker earned his first triple-digit number in the Jennings Stakes at Laurel Park on December 29.
