Race Summary

POOL LAND stalked the pace off the rail, moved between rivals to take command leaving three eighths pole, dueled nearing the quarter pole, shook clear in upper stretch and dug in under strong handling. JOSH'S MADELYN , a bit sluggish from the gate, raced three wide around the first turn, continued three wide and made a prolonged run from the six furlong marker to the far turn, ranged up outside of the winner leaving the far turn, pressed the issue and continued gamely though not quite good enough. IN THE GOLD settled two wide down the backstretch, moved a bit closer around the final turn, angled out four wide for the drive but could only muster a mild finishing response. FRIEL'S FOR REAL saved ground while unhurried, angled out five wide in upper stretch then lacked a solid kick. PROMENADE GIRL , bumped at the break, was used wide into the first turn, continued wide from there and came up empty. DANCE FEE saved ground stalking the pace, was urged along leaving the three eighths pole, failed to respond and faded. PRINCESS PELONA broke outward into PROMENADE GIRL, was sent clear soon after, set the pace along the inside, was collared leaving the far turn, dueled mid way around the final turn then weakened in upper stretch. SILMARIL was steadied in close nearing the first turn, steadied again leaving the three quarter pole, angled four wide around the final turn and never fired. PLATA lost ground four to five wide and was finished nearing the far turn.
