By subscription of $100 each to accompany the nomination or by supplementary nominations of $2,000 by 10:00 a.m, Sunday, September 25. $500 to pass the entry box and $500 additional to start with $100,000 guaranteed and an additional $25,000 from Breeders' Cup Fund for Breeders' Cup eligibles only. The host association's Guaranteed monies to be divided 55% to the winner, 20% to second, 15% to third, 7.5% to fourth and 2.5% to fifth. Breeders' Cup Fund monies also correspondingly divided providing a Breeders' Cup nominee has finished in an awarded position. Any Breeders' Cup Fund monies not awarded will revert back to the Fund. This race will not be divided. Starters to be named through the entry box by the closing time of entries. The starters will be determined at that time with preference given to Breeders' Cup nominees only of equal racing quality or weight assignment (respective of sex and weight for age). Preference to Non-Breeders' Cup nominees follow the same stipulation. A trophy will be presented to the owner of the winner by Breeders' Cup Ltd. Closed Thursday, September 22, 2005 with 10 nominations.

Race Summary
ADREAMISBORN was permitted to lag to the half, commenced a bid when roused into the second turn, rallied smartly three wide to the stretch then was under vigorous left handed urging and surged in the final yards to drop his nose on the line and gain the victory. SHADOW RAIDER set the pace from off the rail to the half, responded on the second turn, edged away to mid stretch then dug in under strong pressure in the final sixteenth but was nailed right on the line. HATIF (BRZ) tracked the pace to the half, was asked for speed two wide to the stretch then finished with a steady late run. EL DON pressed the pace to the half, was put to a drive on the second turn, responded to mid stretch then finished evenly in the final sixteenth. GRAFTON was allowed to settle inside, tried to rally while still inside to the stretch then was outfinished in the final furlong.
