| STAKES. 1 Mile Turf. Purse $200,000. City of Hope Mile S. (Grade 2). FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD. By subscription of $100 each if made on or before Friday, September 30, 2016 or by supplementary nomination of $4,000 at time of entry. All horses to pay $3,000 additional to start, with $200,000 guaranteed. The winner to receive $120,000, $40,000 to second, $24,000 to third, $12,000 to fourth and $4,000 to fifth. Three-Year-Olds: 122 lbs. Older: 125 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade I or Grade II race at One Mile of Over since April 8, 2016, allowed 2 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade I or Grade II race at One Mile or Over OR Two Grade III races at One Mile or Over since October 8, 2015, 4 lbs. Highweights preferred, followed by Graded Stake Winners within 18 months of race, followed by Graded Stakes placed horses within 18 months of race, followed by highest earners within 12 months of race.
