BADTOTHEBONEANDREW crossed to the inside going to the first turn, was unhurried down the backstretch, moved up after entering the second turn, got angled out for room nearing the drive, rallied gamely but could not overtake the top one. NITRO CHIP reserved early, bid outside MEAN BUTTERBEAN approaching the second turn, gained the edge and then while no match for the top two weakened late. METEOR IMPACT close up, bid three wide around the second turn and then failed to sustain his bid. MEAN BUTTERBEAN set the pace to the second turn, got headed and then retreated along the rail. BEAUTIFY LIFE was no real threat. SPRITELY WALKER saved ground too no avail. ZARB'S MUSIC MAN was never dangerous.
