| Race Summary |
|---|
WANNA RUNNER contested the pace on the inside, edged clear at the top of the
stretch and drew away while ridden out. WAIT IN LINE raced three wide on the
first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, engaged the leaders leaving the
backstretch, vied three wide on the far turn, lost touch with WANNA RUNNER
entering the stretch and proved no match while well clear for the place.
ADMIRAL'S ARCH jostled with RAIN ON MONDAY after the start, was rated off the
pace while off the rail, shifted three wide near the quarter-pole, held a good
striking position into the stretch but came up empty while able to best the
rest. MR. PURSUIT was re-shod in the paddock, broke outward at the start, raced
four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was hard ridden while three
wide on the far turn and failed to respond. RAIN ON MONDAY jostled with
ADMIRAL'S ARCH after the start, contested the pace on the outside of WANNA
RUNNER, dropped out approaching the quarter-pole and faded. RED RAYMOND raced
three wide on the first turn, settled on the inside of MR. PURSUIT, was roused
while off the rail on the far turn and had no response.
