| Race Summary |
|---|
DUBAI ESCAPADE sprinted clear soon after the start, race four or five wide on
the backstretch, edged in around the turn, made the balance of the pace and was
going under solid hand urging in the late stages. JOSH'S MADELYN, outsprinted
early, raced near the inside for five furlongs, angled four wide for the drive
and was clear for the place. EVER ELUSIVE, well placed early and three wide,
moved after the winner entering the upper stretch but flattened out at the end.
BEAUTIFUL BETS settled early while two or three wide, continued near the inside
into the stretch and improved position. ISLAND ESCAPE, well placed inside for a
half, swung out five wide entering the upper stretch but failed to offer a
further response. GIVEMEMORE (BRZ), briefly in front after the start, lost the
advantage to the winner, continued forwardly to the stretch and faltered.
BENDING STRINGS, between rivals four wide, was finished approaching the stretch.
MALIBU MINT, off the inside in a striking position along the backstretch,
weakened on the turn. ATLAS VALLEY, within striking distance and four or five
wide for a half, gradually weakened approaching the final quarter.
