| STAKES. 7 Furlongs Dirt. Purse $300,000. Vinery Madison S. (Grade 1). FOR FILLIES AND MARES, FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. By subscription of $200 each, which should accompany the nomination or by Supplementary Nomination of $15,000 at time of entry (includes entry and starting fees). $1,500 to enter and an additional $1,500 start, with $300,000 guaranteed, of which $180,000 to the owner of the winner, $60,000 to second, $30,000 to third, $15,000 to fourth, $9,000 to fifth and $6,000 to be divided equally among sixth through last. Weight: 123 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade I stakes since November 4 allowed 2 lbs.; a Grade I or II since October 8, 4 lbs.; $60,000 in 2011, 6 lbs. The maximum number of starters for the Vinery Madison will be limited to fourteen. In the event that more than fourteen fillies or mares pass the entry box, the fourteen starters will be determined at that time with preference given to graded stakes winners, then highest 2010-2011 earnings. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. A gold julep cup will be presented tothe owner of the winner.
