BENEFICIAL BARTOK bobbled in a slow start, saved ground off the pace, went around a rival leaving the turn, and gained the place inside. ALLSWELLTHATNSWELL a bit fractious in the gate, stalked outside, came four wide into the stretch and picked up the show. GUIDEBOOK sped to the early lead off the rail, dueled outside the winner on the turn, drifted out in the stretch and weakened. PORTHCAWL (GB) chased outside or off the rail, came five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. DOMINIQUES DARLING stalked the pace outside then off the rail on the turn, came out into the stretch and weakened. ROYAL LIVERPOOL chased a bit off the rail then outside a rival on the turn and lacked a further response.
