WANDERIN BOY cleared early, set the pace two wide, moved away some nearing the lane, drifted out in upper stretch then gave way grudgingly in the final sixteenth of a mile. WEST VIRGINIA saved ground under rating, gained ground leaving the five sixteenths marker, angled out nearing the lane, brushed with the winner nearing the eighth pole, checked soon after, shifted out and continued willingly. HARLINGTON lost ground four wide, stalked the pace into the far turn, was put to urging around the final turn but failed to respond. WE CAN SEEK (CHI) , allowed to settle, saved ground into the lane and came up empty.
