| Race Summary |
|---|
PURIM away in good order, with the early pace between horses, allowed the leader
to go first turn, patiently stalked that one, ranged up with a nice move three
wide turning for home, gained the advantage, drew clear and was kept to task in
the late going. ARCH HALL lacked early foot, continued to race unhurried up the
backstretch while off the inside, advanced three wide late in the second turn,
could do little with the winner in the late going, clearly second best. THUNDER
MISSION off slow, raced back, staged a mild rally in the three path, some late
gain. GREATER GOOD void of early foot, came four wide into the stretch, made
little impact through the stretch. ROCKPORT HARBOR broke with the field, cleared
toward the inside first turn, set a fairly lively set of fractions, little left
for the drive along the inside. REAL DANDY remained back throughout, dull
effort. CHIPPEWA TRAIL forwardly placed, moved up to race on equal terms with
the winner far turn, gave way from between foes in the drive. PRINCE T. began to
fade after five furlongs.
