T. H. APPROVAL unhurried outside a rival then inside on the backstretch, came out leaving the second turn and into the stretch and finished well. WILD BUDDY sped to the early lead, set the pace a bit off the rail, opened a commanding advantage through the stretch the first time, angled to the fence on the backstretch, fought back leaving the second turn and into the stretch and held third. ATLANDO (IRE) rank between horses and steadied early, angled in and saved ground, moved up inside leaving the backstretch, came a bit off the rail on the second turn, swung out into the stretch and was edged for the show. EASTERN SAND drifted wide crossing the dirt, angled in and stalked inside, bid between foes on the second turn and into the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. ONE OFF (GB) chased inside then came off the rail into the backstretch, was roused three deep nearing the half mile pole, dropped back, came four wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response.
