LAVA MAN four wide early, dueled three deep, took the lead nearing the quarter
pole, kicked clear off the inside into the stretch and held gamely under urging.
MAGNUM (ARG) saved ground stalking the pace, split horses leaving the second
turn, bid along the rail in the stretch and continued willingly to the wire.
WILKO allowed to settle off the pace out from the inside, ranged up four wide
into the stretch and gained the show. HIGH LIMIT three deep early, dueled
between horses then inside the winner leaving the second turn and weakened in
the stretch. GIACOMO unhurried off the rail then outside a rival on the
backstretch, came three deep into the stretch and was not a threat. TEXCESS
pulled hard chasing the pace off the rail early, angled in some on the second
turn, came out into the stretch and did not rally. SPELLBINDER also pulled
between horses early then stalked between rivals and weakened in the stretch.
MARENOSTRUM (BRZ) five wide early, stalked the pace three deep and had little
left for the stretch. WITH DISTINCTION went up inside to duel for the lead,
dropped back nearing the quarter pole, gave way and was eased late.
