Leparoux, field entry tied in new BC jockey bet Julien Leparoux and the all others Field entry have two wins apiece in the new Breeders' Cup Jockey Bet going into the Saturday program of the Breeders' Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park. The Breeders' Cup Jockey Bet is a win only wager, and is based solely on the results of the 14 Breeders' Cup World Championships races on Friday and Saturday. All bets were placed prior to Friday's first Breeders' Cup race, the Breeders' Cup Marathon. The all others Field entry closed as the 9-5 favorite followed by Garrett Gomez at 4.2-1, winner of Friday's Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (G1) aboard LIFE IS SWEET (Storm Cat). A total of $117,559 was wagered into the pool at Santa Anita and at the simulcast locations. Leparoux, who closed in the Jockey Bet wagering at 5.6-1, Friday captured both the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) on SHE BE WILD (Offlee Wild) and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) on INFORMED DECISION (Monarchos). John Murtagh, at 13-1, won the Breeders' Cup Marathon on MAN OF IRON (Giant's Causeway). The two All others Field winners were represented by Robby Albarado, who took the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on TAPITSFLY (Tapit), and Tom Queally, who rode MIDDAY (GB) (Oasis Dream [GB]) to victory in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1). Closing odds on the Jockey Bet appear below. If two or more entrants finish with the same number of wins, the results will be considered a dead heat with multiple winners paid accordingly.
