Reflect Times will make stakes debut in Robert Lewis Unbeaten REFLECT TIMES (French Deputy), an impressive allowance winner at Santa Anita on December 28, will make his stakes debut in Saturday's $200,000 Robert B. Lewis S. (G2). Five juveniles will contest the 1 1/16-mile test over Santa Anita's Cushion Track. Trained by John Shirreffs, Reflect Times broke his maiden going six furlongs at Del Mar before returning off a freshening to win his last start at 6 1/2 furlongs. Both victories came from well off the pace, and Mike Smith will guide the late runner on Saturday. San Rafael S. (G3) runner-up INDIAN SUN (Indian Charlie) brings the best credentials into the event. The Dan Hendricks pupil concluded 2007 with a second in the grassy Generous S. (G3) and a fifth in the CashCall Futurity (G1). He finished 6 1/2 lengths back of the promising El Gato Malo (El Corredor) in the January 12 San Rafael last out. MEAL PENALTY (Tale of the Cat) also owns stakes experience, finishing third in the Hollywood Prevue S. (G3) last November and fifth in the San Pedro S. most recently. CROWN OF THORNS (Repent) and COAST GUARD (Stormy Atlantic) also merit consideration off impressive maiden wins. From the rail, the contestants are Indian Sun, Alex Solis; Crown of Thorns, Victor Espinoza; Coast Guard, Rafael Bejarano; Reflect Times; and Meal Penalty, Garrett Gomez. Reflect Times and Meal Penalty will carry 117 pounds; the rest tote 115.
