A full field will line up for Sunday's $100,000 Las Cienegas H. (G3) at Santa Anita, and the about 6 1/2-furlong turf event for fillies and mares is a highly competitive affair. The speedy INGRID THE GAMBLER (Johannesburg) won the Wishing Well II H. at this track and trip in her most recent outing, and we're going to tab her to repeat here. The consistent Tim Yakteen-trained filly projects a forwardly placed trip under the young Joe Talamo and should be hard to keep off the board.

SUPER FREAKY (Smart Strike) has been keeping company with some of the best turf distaffers on the circuit and has shown an affinity for this trip, having won the La Habra S. at this course and distance last year. She has been training forwardly for her seasonal reappearance and must be respected for a top-three placing.

LIGHTMYFIREBABY (Unusual Heat) won the restricted Irish O'Brien S. at this trip two back and exits a good runner-up effort in the Valentine Dancer H. for state-breds at one mile. She has the potential to light the board at playable odds.

European stakes winner and German classic-placed BAHAMA MAMA (Ire) (Invincible Spirit) fits well at this distance and has a long series of workouts in preparation for her U.S. debut. She has sleeper possibilities. PAT THE COOL CAT (Sir Cat) faded to seventh as the favorite in the Wishing Well II last out and may have some class questions. RED DIADEM (GB) (Pivotal) won two straight at this trip last season and may be able to work out an off-the-shelf, stalk-and-pounce trip for a share.

Grade 3 winner GOOD MOOD (Ire) (Danehill Dancer) was a non-threatening fourth in the Santa Margarita Invitational H. (G1) last out and a decent third in the Monrovia H. (G3) to begin the year. She could surprise. SHERMEEN (Ire) (Desert Style) has good recent BRIS Speed figures but is winless in 10 starts over the Santa Anita turf. The mare is a possible underlay. Multiple Group 3 winner WAKE UP MAGGIE (Ire) (Xaar) has been working well in advance of her American bow, but is hard to gauge at this trip.

STORMIN MON (Maria's Mon) was a closing fourth in the Wishing Well II two back and has some upset potential. MACADAMIA (Artax) beat Ingrid the Gambler last season but appears to be off form presently. JUSTICE IS BRIEF (Lit de Justice) appears outclassed with these.
