Street Boss looms large in Bing Crosby Triple Bend Invitational H. (G1) hero STREET BOSS (Street Cry [Ire]) will bring a four-race winning streak into Sunday's $300,000 Bing Crosby H. (G1), and California's top sprinter will face eight rivals over the Polytrack at Del Mar. Trained by Bruce Headley, the four-year-old colt made his stakes debut two starts back in the Los Angeles H. (G3), winning by a length in a track record on the synthetic surface, and the late runner finished fast to take the Triple Bend by a half-length last time. Street Boss won his career debut at Del Mar last September and will bring a 10-6-2-0 career mark into the six-furlong Bing Crosby. The 121-pound co-highweight will keep David Flores in the saddle. IN SUMMATION (Put It Back) will defend his title after winning the 2007 edition in thrilling fashion, getting up in the final jumps for a nose decision, and the classy five-year-old captured the Palos Verdes H. (G2) earlier this year at Santa Anita. The Christophe Clement runner will carry 121 pounds along with Corey Nakatani. Malibu S. (G1) victor JOHNNY EVES (Skimming) will break from the far outside post under Garrett Gomez. BARBECUE EDDIE (Stormy Atlantic) will enter off an impressive allowance/optional claiming score on the Hollywood Gold Cup (G1) undercard, and the Brian Koriner-trained gelding showed an affinity for the Polytrack when going two-for-two at Del Mar last year. Multiple Grade 3 winner SAILORS SUNSET (Petionville) will pick up the services of leading rider Rafael Bejarano.
