Downloading and Installing the Adobe Acrobat Reader
Note: It is recommended that you print this page.
Click the folowing to begin the download:
Download ar405eng.exe
If you are using Internet Explorer or Americal Online, Windows will ask you if you want to Run this program from its current location or to Save this program to disk.
Select Save this program to disk and click OK.
Windows will then ask you where to save the program:
To the right of the Save in window is a toggle button:
Click this button and select Desktop. Now click the save button.
Installation Instructions
After the download is complete you will have a new icon on your desktop:
- 1. Double-click the new icon.
- 2. Follow the instructions on your screen.
If there is a failure at any point during the installation of Acrobat Reader, the installer performs a complete
uninstall. For this reason, it is important not to close the installer application early. Please wait until the
install is complete and all windows close automatically.
