2)Won National Handicapping Championship Jan. 2001, $100,000. One of the highlights of this was going to the Eclipse Awards and being honored. It was absolutly thrilling to be among not only quite a few of my friends but so many outstanding people in the racing industry.

6) Finished 2nd on the NHC Tour for 2009 to husband Bryan.
7) Finished in the top 30 in NHC XI. 3rd time cashing in the NHC, and 4th time finishing in the top 30.
 Started Playing: 1994
Handicapping Mentor(s): My husband, Bryan Wagner.
Handicapping Style: I follow statistical trends with trainers, jockeys and horses. My favorite races to handicap are 2 year old races as I like following sire stats, especially new sires. The dam and sire stats, as well as the trainer and jockey stats in the Ultimate PPs are indispensable. Although I am an avid handicapper I am not a big bettor. I enjoy the challenge of trying to find long shots. One of my more recent successful finds was Ionia, (Indian Charlie) first time starter at Del Mar this past summer. Paid $91. to win; $700. exacta.
