TRACK BANDIT PREVIEWS

The speedy MYTHICAL PEGASUS (Fusaichi Pegasus) is our top choice in Sunday's

$150,000 Iroquois S. (G3) at Churchill Downs. The opening day co-feature

consists of 10 two-year-olds going a one-turn mile.

Trained by D. Wayne Lukas, Mythical Pegasus set the pace before holding on

gamely for third in the Futurity S. (G2) at Belmont Park in his last start. The

dark bay colt broke his maiden in his previous start at Saratoga and figures to

be the one to catch under Robby Albarado.

CHITOZ (Forest Wildcat) broke his maiden by more than 10 lengths at Monmouth

Park, then closed determinedly for runner-up honors in the Kentucky Cup Juvenile

S. (G3).

The Todd Pletcher trainee will be ridden by go-to rider John Velazquez and must

be respected.

BLACKBERRY ROAD (Gone West) was blocked on the rail before angling out

sharply and finishing a good third in the Kentucky Cup Juvenile. He

should come running late and may earn a share.

The Steve Asmussen-trained SOK SOK (Trippi) was a determined stakes winner at

Presque Isle Downs in his last start. He is a player for a top-three placing.

LITTLE NICK (Tiger Ridge) finished a close third to Sok Sok last out and is

tactically drawn on the outside.

COURT VISION (Gulch) was a good-looking maiden winner around two turns at

Keeneland for Bill Mott in his last start and is worth a second look. HALO NAJIB

(Halo's Image) closed well to win a 6 1/2-furlong maiden event in 1:15 4/5 in

his debut at Keeneland and could be a good one.

BEN AND THE TWIN (Storm Boot) has won his last two sprinting for Cody Autrey,

and with his close stalking style, could get up for a piece of the purse. The speedy ST. JOE (Trippi) figures to add to the early pace but may not be

able to go this far. The well-seasoned PULASKI RUNNER (Tale of the Cat) appears

overmatched.
