(G1), bound for trainer Bob Baffert's Del Mar base.

Exercise rider Jorge Alvarez commented on what makes American Pharoah

special.

In another Haskell postscript, trainer Rick Violette reports that

third-placer

Upstart (Flatter) is bound for the Travers (G1) August 29 at Saratoga.
