DON SIX (Wild Escapade) will face five in the $100,000 Bold Ruler H. (G3) at

Belmont Park on Saturday. He cuts back to his preferred distance of six furlongs after weakening in the

stretch of the seven-furlong Carter H. (G1) last out. Listed at 3-5 on the morning line, he is the heavy favorite, so

to give a little more value we'll go with THUNDER TOUCH (Gulch).

The four-year-old colt comes off a four-month layoff after finishing ninth

in the Mr. Prospector H. (G3). Prior to that, he won two straight, including the

Fall Highweight H. (G3). The Kiaran McLaughlin trainee could benefit from the

presence of three speed horses in this field with his late-running style. Toward

the end of his three-year-old campaign last year, the chestnut earned four

consecutive century-topping BRIS Late Pace figures. Thunder Touch

relishes the track and distance, winning two of four at Belmont and three of

five at six furlongs. Jockey Eibar Coa will ride.

Don Six has performed tremendously since making the switch to trainer Scott

Lake late last year, earning four-straight triple-digit BRIS Speed figures,

including a 117 when winning the Paumonok H. by 2 3/4 lengths. The five-year-old

has been victorious seven times in 14 tries at the distance and will be sure to

be found at the front of the pack after the break. He blitzed four furlongs

over this surface on Tuesday in :46 1/5 to prepare for this one and will be tough to beat.

UNCLE CAMIE (Abaginone) used an optional claimer to warm up for this

one, winning that event by four lengths, and will have jockey Richard Migliore,

who has four wins

over the past week, in the saddle. Look for the Michael Hushion-conditioned five-year-old to be

fighting Don Six for the lead, but falling short to that rival as the

race nears the wire.

DASHBOARD DRUMMER (Alamocitos) is undefeated in two tries at six furlongs and

could benefit if an early speed duel materializes. The four-year-old gelding has

proven he can win on either surface and could play a part in the later stages of

this event.

WILLY O'THE VALLEY (Will's Way) is one of two coupled horses for Richard Dutrow. The four-year-old gelding has two wins in three attempts at Belmont and

will be making his debut for Dutrow. The early pace, however, could hurt his

chances for a score here. Stablemate KAZOO (Tabasco Cat) is also making his

first start for Dutrow. The seven-year-old's lack of experience at this level

could hurt his chances in the end.
