Bolt d’Oro opens as 2018 Kentucky Derby favorite

The Wynn Las Vegas opened wagering on the 2018 Kentucky Derby at 9 a.m. (PDT) on Thursday, September 21, and undefeated graded winners Bolt d’Oro and The Tabulator were the co-favorites at 40-1.
However, it was Bolt d’Oro who more interested bettors, as the Del Mar Futurity (G1) winner was cut to 30-1 shortly after the pool opened. The Tabulator recently captured the Iroquois Stakes (G3) at Churchill Downs on September 16.
