Jockey Joe Bravo tied the record for the most wins on a single card at

Monmouth Park when taking down six races on Sunday. It is the third time the

rider has tied the record, having previously scored six winners on August 31,

1994 and May 18, 2002.

"I just feel blessed," he said. "It just makes you feel really good to have

all the trainers and owners that are behind me and let me get on their horses.

This is just awesome."

Going for his 11th leading jockey title at Monmouth, Bravo sat out the first

two races before getting his streak started in the 3RD with SOLDIERS CHARGE

(Lost Soldier), who posted a 3 1/4-length win. He continued in the 4TH, 5TH and

6TH with CAT'S A ROCKIN (Catienus), MORNING SKY (Mt. Livermore) and TRICK'S PIC

(Favorite Trick), respectively, before finishing off the board in the 7TH and

8TH events. Returning with a bang in the 9TH, the 34-year-old rider posted a

half-length triumph with COMACINA (Dixie Union) before rounding out his day with

EXCELLENT JOB (Halo's Image) in the 10TH.

Only three other jockeys have won six races in one day at Monmouth: Walter

Blum (6/9/61), Chris Antley (7/30/84) and Julie Krone (8/19/87).
