The Breeders' Cup announced Thursday the

wagering menu and post times for the 27th Breeders' Cup World Championships, to

be held on Friday, November 5, and Saturday, November 6, at Churchill Downs in

Louisville, Kentucky -- with both programs finishing under the lights of the famed Twin

Spires.

This year's wagering menu on the 14 Breeders' Cup races is a veritable

"Bettors' Banquet" of wagering opportunities including two all Breeders' Cup

Ultra Pick 6s; $6 million in guaranteed pools; 10-cent superfectas, 50-cent

Pick 4s, rolling Pick 3s, a Ladies' Classic (G1) - Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) daily

double and the Breeders' Cup Jockey Bet. For the first time, all 14 Breeders'

Cup races will have a maximum of 14 betting interests.

There will be a total of 10 races (six Breeders' Cup races) on the Championship

Friday program and 11 races on Championship Saturday (eight Breeders' Cup

races). Championship Friday begins at 2 p.m. (EDT) with four

Churchill Downs races (two allowance and two stakes). The first Breeders' Cup

race on the program is scheduled to be the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Marathon (G3)

at 4:10

p.m., followed by the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G2) (4:50

p.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) (5:30 p.m.); $2

million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1) (6:10 p.m.); $2 million

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) (6:50 p.m.); and concluding with the $2 million

Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (7:30 p.m.).

There will be an Ultra Pick Six on

the six Friday Breeders' Cup races with a guaranteed pool of $750,000.

On Championship Saturday, first post time is 12:05 p.m. (EDT)

starting with an allowance race and two Churchill Downs stakes races. The first

Breeders' Cup race on Saturday is scheduled to be the $1 million Breeders' Cup

Juvenile Turf (G2) (1:50 p.m.); $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) (2:30 p.m.); $1

million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G2) (3:15 p.m.); $2 million Breeders'

Cup Juvenile (G1) (3:55 p.m.); $2 million Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) (4:40 p.m.); $2

million Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) (5:20 p.m.); $3 million Breeders' Cup Turf

(G1) (6:00 p.m.); and the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic

(6:45 p.m.).

There will be an Ultra Pick Six with a guaranteed pool of $2

million on the Saturday program beginning with the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint and

concluding with the Breeders' Cup Classic.

The race order for both days of the World Championships will be finalized on

Wednesday, October 27. The remainder of each day's card will be set after

entries and post-positions are drawn on Tuesday, November 2.

"Year after year racing fans around the world know they're going to find great

horses on the track and exceptional value in the betting pools," said Ken

Kirchner, President of FalKirk International and the manager of the Breeders' Cup wagering

and simulcasting operations for the last 14 years. "The

Championships give both the novice and the big player a chance to cash big

tickets on their investment. With fractional bet levels at ten cents for

superfectas and 50 cents for trifectas, Pick 3s and Pick 4, this betting menu

should appeal to fans at every level. In four of the last 11 years, Breeders'

Cup has produced million dollar payouts in the Ultra Pick 6."

Each Breeders' Cup World Championships race will feature a maximum of 14 horses

and wagering interests. In addition to the standard win, place and show betting,

there will be exacta and trifecta wagering on every race and rolling Pick 3

wagers beginning with the 1ST race and continuing through all races on both

Championship Friday and Championship Saturday. Among the featured wagers

returning this year are:

* The Breeders' Cup Jockey Bet. Wagers will be offered on the jockey who has the

most wins in the 14 Breeders' Cup Championships races over the two-day event.

The wager will open for advance betting on Thursday, November 4, and will close

prior to the running of the Breeders' Cup Marathon on Friday. A morning line

will be published.

* Each day's Breeders' Cup Ultra Pick Six wager will have a guaranteed pool and

feature only Championships races. Friday's Ultra Pick 6 will have a guaranteed

gross pool of $750,000 and Saturday's Ultra Pick 6 will feature a $2 million

guaranteed gross pool. If no one hits the Friday Ultra Pick 6, the pool will

carry over into Saturday's Ultra Pick 6. The wager is a mandatory payout at the

end of the Saturday program.

* A Daily Double wager linking the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic on Friday to

the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday will also be offered. Last year's

inaugural "Classic Double" of Ladies' Classic winner Life is Sweet and Classic

winner Zenyatta (Street Cry [Ire]) paid $92.60.

Other wagering highlights this year include the Pick 4, now with a 50-cent minimum,

which continues to be a fan-favorite bet at

the Breeders' Cup. There will be three guaranteed Pick 4 pools. Friday's all

Championships Pick 4 will have a guaranteed pool of $750,000. On Saturday, there

will be two guaranteed Pick 4s. The early all Championships Pick 4 will have a

$1 million guaranteed pool and the late all Championships Pick 4 will have

a $1.5 million guaranteed pool.

Super High 5s on both the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic and the Breeders'

Cup Classic will also be offered. Bettors are required to select the first five finishing places on

one ticket). If no one hits the Super High 5 on Friday, the pool will carry

over to Saturday's Super High 5 on the Classic. The wager is a mandatory

payout after the Classic.
