Breeders' Cup offering free iPhone and iPad Apps

The Breeders' Cup, in conjunction with App developer RockLive, announced
Tuesday that it has launched, for the second year in a row, the Breeders' Cup
Official iPhone and iPad Apps in advance of the Breeders' Cup World
Championships at Churchill Downs on November 4-5. The Official 2011
Breeders' Cup app will, among other things, allow iPhone and iPad users to watch
all 15 Breeders' Cup World Championship races live and for free on November 4-5.
Launched for the first time in advance of the 2010 World Championships, last
year's Official Breeders' Cup app was downloaded by more than 50,000 fans in 86
countries. The 2010 version was ranked as high as sixth in the best-selling free
sports apps in the iTunes App Store during the first week of its launch and was
recognized as an Official Honoree in the Sports Mobile & Applications category
during the 15th Annual Webby Awards.
Fans who downloaded the 2010 app will need to separately download the 2011
version of the Official Breeders' Cup App in the iTunes App Store.To download,

This year's Official Breeders' Cup App has been launched in advance of
pre-entries, which will be announced Wednesday. Additional features and
enhancements on the 2011 app include:
information you need to know about the event's richest race, the $5
million Breeders' Cup Classic;
2011 Breeders' Cup World Championships;
Championship races, including biographical information and current race
records for all contenders in each division;
site based on your current location, determine the costs of your bets with a
handy wagering calculator or review the Betting 101 guide;
seat/facility maps, post times and local weather;
race past performances);
Twitter or on the Worldwide Leader Board.

be able to watch the Breeders' Cup World Championships wherever they are and
have instant access to valuable information regarding all 15 Breeders' Cup World
Championships races."
