Fasig-Tipton

Two colts, one by Candy Ride and one by Street Boss, each brought $250,000 at

Tuesday's second session of the Fasig-Tipton October Yearling Sale in Lexington,

Kentucky.

John Oxley bought the son of Candy Ride, Hip No. 584, who was consigned by

Mill Ridge Sales, agent. Produced by Mantekilla (Lemon Drop Kid), the West

Virginia-bred is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Harlan's Destiny

This extended family includes two-time Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1) winner

Mizdirection (Mizzen Mast) and Grade 1 heroes Sultry Song (Cox's Ridge), Solar

Splendor (Majestic Light), and Mass Media (Touch Gold).

Team D purchased the Street Boss colt for $250,000 from Hidden Brook, agent.

He was reared by Moojha (Forest Wildcat), a daughter of Grade 3 winner Kiss the

Devil (Kris S.).

Kiss the Devil's offspring also includes current Grade 3 winner Kiss Moon

(Malibu Moon) and multiple stakes winner Kiss Mine (Mineshaft). Kiss the Devil

is also the second dam of Besharah (Kodiac), heroine of the Lowther S. (Eng-G2)

at York in August.
