Dynever to ship for Native Diver

Trainer Christophe Clement said Sunday that multiple Grade 3 winner DYNEVER (Dynaformer)

will be flown to California on Monday for the $100,000 Native Diver H. (G3) at

Hollywood Park on Saturday.

Currently training at Payson Park in Florida, the four-year-old was

successful in traveling west earlier this year when his connections flew him to

Santa Anita for the San Bernardino H. (G3). Dynever finished third in last

year's Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), but could only muster an eighth-place finish

in that same event in his most recent race. Corey Nakatani will get the mount in

the Native Diver,

according to Clement.

Other possibles for the Native Diver include Grade 2 hero Supah Blitz (Mecke), winner of

the Carl G. Rose Classic H. in his last outing; stakes victor Truly A Judge (Judge T C), an

impressive allowance winner over the Hollywood dirt most recently; and the last

three winners of the California Cup Classic: Cozy Guy (Alphabet Soup), Tizbud (Cee's

Tizzy) and Calkins Road (Illinois Storm).
