Echo of Light supplemented to Sussex

Godolphin has supplemented the impressive

Summer Mile S. (Eng-G3) winner ECHO OF LIGHT (Dubai Millennium) to

Wednesday's

Sussex S. (Eng-G1) at the Glorious Goodwood meeting. Racing Manager Simon

Crisford revealed that

the four-year-old's participation in the contest, for which

the operation also has

the July S. (Eng-G1) runner-up IFFRAAJ (Zafonic), Prix Messidor (Fr-G3) victor

LIBRETTIST (Danzig) and

last year's Prix de la Foret (Fr-G1) second CARADAK (Desert Style), will depend on easing

of the ground at the venue.

"We'll wait and see what the weather does,

as although he has

been supplemented, he is not a definite runner," Crisford said Thursday. "He is dependent on

the ground and we've got to look at the big picture--we have Iffraaj

probably running in (Tuesday's) Lennox S. (Eng-G2), but he will also be confirmed for the Sussex

as well."

Saleh Al

Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar's Irish Two Thousand Guineas (Ire-G1) and St James's

Palace S. (Eng-G1) hero ARAAFA (Mull of Kintyre), who was purchased to stand at Plantation Stud

at the end of the

season, headed the 15 remaining entries for the mile event. Aidan

O'Brien has left in a trio,

headed by Susan Magnier and John Ingham's Queen Anne S. (Eng-G1) winner AD

VALOREM (Danzig),

while Sir Michael Stoute has left in Cheveley Park Stud's

Lockinge S. (Eng-G1) winner

PEERESS (Pivotal), Betty Moran's Jersey S. (Eng-G3) winner JEREMY (Danehill Dancer) and Philip Newton's Sandown Mile

(Eng-G2) victor ROB ROY (Lear Fan).
