Last updated: 7/24/09 4:44 PM

Grade 2 hero EUROSILVER (Unbridled's Song) was represented by his first

winning offspring on Friday when Judas landed the 1ST race at Calder. The 3-2

choice seized the early lead beneath Jesus Rios and steadily widened his

advantage to four lengths. Trained by Herbert Miller for Lion of Judah Racing

Stable, the bay juvenile completed 4 1/2 furlongs on the fast track in :54 2/5.

Eurosilver won two of three starts as a juvenile for Nick Zito, missing in his career bow

before posting dominating wins in a maiden special weight at Saratoga and

the Breeders' Futurity S. (G2) at Keeneland. He continued his winning ways in

his three-year-old opener, racking up a five-length allowance score, then just

missed by a head in the Swale S. (G3). Sidelined for seven months thereafter,

the dark bay was switched to Carl Nafzger and raced twice more as a sophomore,

recording a second in the Perryville S. and a fifth in the Clark H. (G2). As a

four-year-old, Eurosilver would capture the Skip Away H. (G3) and finish

runner-up in the Stephen Foster H. (G1). He ended his career with an

off-the-board run in the Whitney H. (G1).

Eurosilver earned $622,310 on the racetrack to go along with his 12-4-4-0

mark. He is out of the stakes-winning Russian Tango (Nijinsky II), herself a

daughter of 1986 champion two-year-old filly Brave Raj (Rajab). Also in the

family are Canadian Grade 2 winner Muntej (GB) (Muhtarram) and French Group 2

victress Baqah (Bahhare).

Eurosilver stands for a fee of $10,000 at Dromoland Farm near Lexington,

Kentucky.
