Grade 2 winner Exaggerator (Curlin), runner-up in the Breeders' Futurity (G1)

and fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) in his last two starts, gamely

edged Sunny Ridge (Holy Bull) in the $1 million Delta Downs Jackpot (G3) and

jumped to second in the Kentucky Derby Leaderboard, increasing his total to 16

with the 10-point prize. Three-time Kentucky Derby winner and Hall of Famer Kent

Desormeaux was up for his older brother, Keith Desormeaux, and Exaggerator

completed 1 1/16 miles in 1:46.48 on the muddy track.

Earlier, Jet Black Magic (Hold Me Back) sprung a 9-1 upset over 1-5 favorite La

Appassionata (Bernardini) in the $400,000 Delta Downs Princess (G3), giving

her 10 qualifying points for the 2016 Kentucky Oaks (G1).
