Exaggerator (Curlin) rallied from last behind a fast pace and passed inside
even-money favorite Saratoga Mischief (Into Mischief) in the final yards to take
Sunday's $200,000
Saratoga Special (G2) going 6 1/2 furlongs.
Owned by Big Chief Racing and trained by Keith Desormeaux, the Del Mar maiden
winner returned $11.40 after completing the distance in 1:16.39 over a fast
track under Junior Alvarado.
