Fantastic Light filly tops BBAG
There was a distinct absence of fireworks during the first session of the
BBAG Autumn Mixed Sale, when the top-priced lot of the day was a yearling filly
by Fantastic Light.
Consigned by Gestut Romerhof, Hip No. 243 is a granddaughter of Chilean Group
1 winner Exactly Red (Roy) and was knocked down to Dirk Eisele of BBA Germany
for 30,000. Eisele also purchased Hip 51, a yearling filly by Next Desert from
the same draft. She hails from the family of this year's sensation Manduro (Ger)
and was secured with a bid of 22,000.
Richard Venn Bloodstock paid 29,000 for Gestut Auenquelle's Hip 269, the 2003
Preis der Winterfavoriten (Ger-G3) scorer GLAD LION (Dashing Blade).
