Fasig-Tipton catalogs 830 for Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 830 horses for its Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale,

set for Monday and Tuesday at Newtown Paddocks in Lexington, Kentucky. Each

session will begin at 10 a.m. (EDT).

Stallions represented by first-crop yearlings include champions Action This

Day, Candy Ride (Arg), Perfect Soul (Ire), Smarty Jones and Speightstown, as

well as Grade 1 winners Birdstone, Congaree, Cuvee, Friends Lake, Lion Heart,

Medaglia d'Oro, Peace Rules, Pleasantly Perfect, Tapit and The Cliff's Edge.

Grade 2 victors Chapel Royal, Strong Hope and Saarland likewise have several of

their first yearlings on offer.

The catalog also features yearlings by hot freshman sires. Aldebaran, Empire

Maker, Harlan's Holiday, Hold That Tiger, Kafwain, Macho Uno, Posse, Proud

Citizen, Repent, Van Nistelrooy and Whywhywhy are among those who are off to a

good start with their two-year-olds.

Established stallions are also well represented in the sale, with progeny of
