Field grows for Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot

Baron Georg von Ullmann's MANDURO (Monsun) was supplemented for

Wednesday's Prince of Wales's S. (Eng-G1) at Royal Ascot, for which 10 entries stood

their ground

at the five-day stage. Conditioner Andre Fabre paid the fee to take on Roldvale

Limited's DAVID JUNIOR (Pleasant Tap) and Godolphin's ELECTROCUTIONIST (Red

Ransom) with the

April 9 Prix d'Harcourt (Fr-G2) scorer, who was second in the May 21 Prix d'Ispahan

(Fr-G1)

at

Longchamp last time out.

"Mr. Fabre is absolutely delighted with him," Von Ullmann's Racing

Manager Paul Harley told PA Sport on Friday. "The ground was pretty quick the

other day in

Paris when he was second in the Prix d'Ispahan, so it should be fine for him."

Ed Dunlop has left in Lord Derby's OUIJA BOARD (GB) (Cape Cross [Ire]), but no decision has

been made yet as

to whether the five-year-old will line up in the 10-furlong contest or tackle

Saturday's

Hardwicke S. (Eng-G2) over 1 1/2 miles. Sir Michael Stoute has declared Anthony and

David de Rothschild's Earl of Sefton S. (Eng-G3) and Brigadier Gerard S.

(Eng-G3) hero NOTNOWCATO (Inchinor [GB]), while Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor and Mrs. Harry McCalmont's Breeders' Cup

Turf (G1)

runner-up ACE (Ire) (Danehill) is the sole Ballydoyle representative.

French

interest is deepened

by the presence of the Marquise de Moratalla's Prix Ganay (Fr-G1) hero CORRE

CAMINOS

(Montjeu [Ire]), who will represent last year's King's Stand S. (Eng-G2) winning trainer Mikel

Delzangles, and

Elie Lellouche has left in N P Bloodstock Ltd's six-year-old mare PRIDE (Peintre Celebre).

In other Royal Ascot news:

SPECIOSA (Danehill Dancer) was reported on course for next Friday's

Coronation S. (Eng-G1) following a reported injury scare Thursday.

Trainer Pam Sly dismissed speculation that the One Thousand Guineas (Eng-G1) winner, who was fourth in the

June 2

Epsom Oaks (Eng-G1), might miss the mile contest after losing a shoe.

"She's fine. She's

done two

canters this morning," she told PA Sport. "There was never really a scare. She

just pulled a

shoe off yesterday morning, that's all. I don't know where all the nonsense came

from."

There was disappointing news regarding

Saeed Suhail's FINAL VERSE (Mark of Esteem [Ire]), who has sustained an injury

and will miss

Tuesday's St James's Palace S. (Eng-G1). Trainer Sir Michael Stoute

issued a

statement to PA Sport on Friday that the colt, who was sixth in the Two Thousand

Guineas (Eng-G1) at

Newmarket May 6 before winning the May 25 Listed Heron S. at Goodwood, had

suffered a

foot injury.
