Godolphin buys half-brother to Silvano, Sabiango
Godolphin has privately purchased the Monsun yearling half-brother to
homebred multiple Group/Grade 1 winners Silvano (Ger) (Lomitas [GB]) and
Sabiango (Ger) (Acatenango) from Dr Andreas Jacobs' Gestut Fahrhof in a deal
brokered by Borje Olsson.
Not entered in any sale, the colt is out of the winning Spirit of Eagles
(Beau's Eagle) and was purchased 'from the paddock' for an undisclosed sum. His
two-year-old half-brother by Lomitas went through the ring for 330,000 at last
year's Deauville August Sale.
