Going Wild to run in Rebel

Trainer D. Wayne Lukas plans to run GOING WILD (Golden Missile) in the

$250,000 Rebel S. (G3) on March 19 and the $1 million Arkansas Derby (G2) on

April 16, according to the Oaklawn Park press office. The three-year-old colt has won

three straight races at Santa Anita, including the six-furlong San Miguel S. on

January 17 and nine-furlong Sham S. last Saturday.

Going Wild has compiled a record of 3-2-1 in six starts while earning

$172,420.

The 1 1/16-mile Rebel is also expected to include undefeated Remsen S. (G2)

winner ROCKPORT HARBOR (Unbridled's Song), Hopeful S. (G1) winner and Eclipse

Award runner-up AFLEET ALEX (Northern Afleet), and Kentucky Jockey Club S. (G2)

winner GREATER GOOD (Intidab).

In addition, Lukas plans to run Turfway Breeders' Cup S. (G3) winner SUSAN'S

ANGEL (Cape Town) in the $500,000 Apple Blossom H. (G1) on April 9, and

Schuylerville S. (G2) winner CLASSIC ELEGANCE (Carson City) in the $250,000

Fantasy S. (G2) on April 15 -- both major events during the Racing Festival of

the South.
