High Fly to breeze on Tuesday
Fountain of Youth S. (G2) hero HIGH FLY (Atticus) galloped nearly two miles
at Gulfstream Park on Monday. The Nick Zito trainee missed a scheduled workout
at Palm Meadows on Saturday, one day after the colt spiked a fever. Zito plans
to breeze High Fly, a primary contender for Saturday's $1 million Florida Derby
(G1), on Tuesday.
"If we get that work in and get a clean bill of health, we'll be ready," Zito
said. "If not, then we'll come up with a Plan B. I don't even know what Plan B
is yet. Let's just see what happens after (Tuesday)."
