A field of seven sophomore fillies will line up on Sunday in the $100,000

Honeybee S. (G3) at Oaklawn Park, and BON JOVI GIRL (Malibu Moon) will be

seeking to vindicate her status as a legitimate Kentucky Oaks (G1) hopeful. The

Tim Ritchey-trained dark bay captured the Fairway Fillies S. at Delaware Park by

a dominating 9 3/4 lengths in mid-September, didn't factor when fourth in the

Alcibiades S. (G1) on Keeneland's Polytrack, but returned with an easy

six-length score in the Blue Hen S. back at Delaware Park to round out her

juvenile campaign. Bon Jovi Girl opened 2009 with a 2 3/4-length score against

allowance/optional claiming rivals at Oaklawn, and is our pick to get the job done here

under Jose Caraballo.

BE FAIR (Exchange Rate) will be seeking to move her record to a perfect

three-for-three while making her stakes debut in this spot. The D. Wayne Lukas

charge captured her maiden debut by 3 3/4 lengths over the track on January 16,

and easily handled an allowance field on February 15 by 4 1/4 lengths. The dark bay lass earned a competitive 91 BRIS Speed rating for that

victory, and posted a pair of bullet moves in advance of this race. She could

continue her winning ways with Terry Thompson in the irons.

JUST JENDA (Menifee) looked like a monster early in her career, breaking her

maiden by 6 3/4 lengths and taking the Brandywine S. by nine lengths as a

juvenile. She didn't do as well when making her graded bow in the Delta Princess

S. (G2) to complete her two-year-old campaign, finishing fifth, but she easily added

the Tiffany Lass S. at Fair Grounds when returning this season. The

Larry Jones trainee tried graded rivals, and this race's 1 1/16-mile distance,

in the Silverbulletday S. (G3) last out, and came up with a third-place effort

while no match for the top two. She'll be looking for redemption, and another

shot at the Kentucky Oaks, and will get Gabriel Saez aboard.

Nobody was a match for Rachel Alexandra (Medaglia d'Oro) in the Martha

Washington S. last out, but PEACH BREW (Milwaukee Brew) just missed second by a nose. The dark bay lass is useful runner against this

class of rivals, and has a shot at the gimmicks as evidenced by her 93 Speed

figure in the Martha Washington. Regular rider Quincy Hamilton has the call.

AFLEET DECEIT (Northern Afleet) was the one who nosed out Peach Brew for second

in the Martha Washington and could threaten her rival for a top-three

placing once again.

HIGHTAP (Tapit) has won her past two by a combined 12 lengths, and will be

making her Oaklawn and stakes bow in this one. The Steve Asmussen charge owns

the numbers to be competitive against these, so consider for a spot in the

bottom of the exotics. MY SPANX (A. P. Dixie) appears more suited for the turf.
