Last updated: 4/9/08 10:31 PM

Queen Elizabeth II Invitational Challenge Cup S. (G1) winner BIT OF WHIMSY

(Distorted Humor) and multiple Grade 1 queen PRECIOUS KITTEN (Catienus)

highlight a stellar field of 10 turf distaffers in Saturday's $200,000 Jenny

Wiley S. (G2) at Keeneland. The 1 1/16-mile affair shares the spotlight on the

Blue Grass S. (G1) undercard with the $400,000 Commonwealth S. (G2), which will

feature 10 runners sprinting seven furlongs over the Polytrack.

Bit of Whimsy will bring a two-race winning streak into her 2008 debut,

winning the Mrs. Revere S. (G2) at Churchill Downs in November after taking the

Queen Elizabeth at Keeneland by 2 1/4 lengths. Trained by Barclay Tagg, the

four-year-old miss also garnered the Sands Point S. (G3) and finished second in

the Garden City S. (G1) last season. Javier Castellano will return to the saddle

aboard the chestnut filly.

Precious Kitten will make her first start since capturing the Matriarch S.

(G1) at Hollywood Park in November. The Bobby Frankel-trained mare also won the

John C. Mabee H. (G1), Palomar H. (G2) and Gallorette H. (G3) in 2007, and

Precious Kitten ran well twice at Keeneland, finishing second in the Jenny Wiley

and First Lady S. (G2). An earner of more than $1.4 million, the classy

five-year-old will keep Rafael Bejarano in the saddle.

Canadian Horse of the Year SEALY HILL (Point Given), a close second in the

E.P. Taylor S. (Can-G1) last time out, will make her first appearance of the

season for Mark Casse, and Grade 1 vixen RUTHERIENNE (Pulpit), last seen taking

the Frances A. Genter S. (G3) in December, is another dangerous runner returning

to action. The Christophe Clement charge is five-for-five at the 8 1/2-furlong

distance. CashCall Mile Invitational S. (G2) heroine LADY OF VENICE (Fr) (Loup

Solitaire), a two-time turf winner at Keeneland, merits respect for Kiaran

McLaughlin in her 2008 bow.

CANDY BALL (Lemon Drop Kid), who will make make her Grade 1 debut off

consecutive stakes wins at Fair Grounds, will break from the rail with Jamie

Theriot under a 117-pound weight assignment. Next comes Grade 3 winner ROSHANI

(Fantastic Light), John Velazquez, 119; Sealy Hill, Patrick Husbands, 117;

Rutherienne, Garrett Gomez, 119; Bit of Whimsy, 123; STORMY WEST (Gone West),

Kent Desormeaux, 117; SWINGIT (Victory Gallop), James Graham, 117; Precious

Kitten, 123; Lady of Venice, Edgar Prado, 119; and ARRAVALE (Arch), Jose

Valdivia Jr., 117.

Bobby Frankel is responsible for a pair of top contenders in the

Commonwealth. STORM MILITARY (Arg) (Bernstein), winner of the Thunder Road H.

two starts back and fourth in the Frank E. Kilroe Mile H. (G1) most recently,

could prove tough to handle in his Polytrack debut, and English Group 3 winner

THOUSAND WORDS (GB) (Dansili [GB]), an allowance/optional claiming winner at

Santa Anita last out, will merit serious respect if he runs. Thousand Words is

cross-entered to Friday's Maker's Mark Mile (G1). Grade 3 winners XCHANGER

(Exchange Rate) and BUFFALO MAN (El Prado [Ire]) are also in the Commonwealth

mix.
