horse in training ($6.1 million paid by Aaron Jones for Half Ours) and weanling

filly (a Gone West filly acquired for $2.4 million by M.A.B. Agency), while a

weanling half-brother to European champion Electrocutionist brought a North

American record auction price of $2.7 million from Japanese agent Nobutaka Tada.

Last year's November auction also was highlighted by the sale of Grade 1 winner

Madcap Escapade and her dam, Sassy Pants, for $6 million and $4.5 million,

respectively.
