Journalism has been installed as the 3-1 favorite for the 151st Kentucky Derby (G1) after post positions were drawn on opening night at Churchill Downs.
The winner of four straight including the Santa Anita Derby (G1), Journalism will break from post 8. The second and third choices on the morning line are Sovereignty (5-1) and Sandman (6-1), followed by a pair of 12-1 shots in Rodriguez (now scratched) and Burnham Square. Japan Road winner Luxor Cafe comes next as a 15-1 chance.
