Regardless of whether she hops onto the Kentucky Oaks (G1) trail following her three-length win in the $150,000 Forward Gal (G3) at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, On Time Girl can always fall back on being on very talented sprinter.

Favored at 11-10 in the seven-furlong Forward Gal, On Time Girl ran to expectations while securing 20 qualifying points toward the 1 1/8-mile Kentucky Oaks. She dominated late under Irad Ortiz Jr., covering seven furlongs over a fast track in 1:24.59 and paying $4.20.

Imperatrice edged Sneaky Good for second by a neck, with Hollen Drive and Mythical rounding out the top five. Imperatrice earned 10 Kentucky Oaks points, Sneaky Good six points, Hollen Drive four points, and Mythical two points.

A homebred racing for the Albaugh Family Stable, the Brad Cox-trained On Time Girl is now 4-for-5. After maiden and allowance victories in her first two starts, she was the beaten favorite when second in the Myrtlewood S. at Keeneland. She rebounded in late November to take the Fern Creek S. at Churchill Downs by 3 1/2 lengths.

"The Davona Dale (G2) might be in play going a one-turn mile here late February," Cox said.

Sister Troienne continued her domination over the local three-year-old turf filly class in the $150,000 Sweetest Chant S. Her 2 3/4-length victory in the 1 1/16-mile grass test on firm ground was her fifth consecutive success and third in a stakes.

"It will be interesting to see if she ever gets tested," trainer Brian Lynch said.

On top in the off-the-turf Wait a While S. and in the Ginger Brew S. earlier in the Gulfstream Championship meet, Sister Troienne was easily best over 61-1 outsider Spicy Princess, with Brat Pack 1 1/2 lengths behind in third.

A homebred racing for Woodslane Racing, Sister Troienne finished up 1:40.76 under Mario Gutierrez and paid $3. The daughter of Munnings is now 5-for-6, her debut loss on dirt being her only setback.

Solitude Dude was a convincing winner of the $150,000 Swale S. for three-year-olds, leading all the way to score by 3 3/4 lengths as the 1-5 favorite.

Winner of his first two starts by a combined margin of 17 1/2 lengths, including an eight-length tally in the Inaugural S. at Tampa Bay Downs on Dec. 6, Solitude Dude set moderate fractions before drawing off in the stretch. His final time was 1:23.46 for seven furlongs.

Class President finished second, 1 3/4 lengths ahead of 23-1 longshot Hammond.

Solitude Dude is owned by Chris Fountoukis and is trained by Saffie Joseph Jr. Irad Ortiz Jr. was aboard the son of Yaupon.

"I think he has Grade 1 ability at a mile or less," Joseph said. "If we do try two turns, it would be the Fountain of Youth (G2) I think.

The Fountain of Youth, over 1 1/16 miles, is scheduled for Feb. 28.

Thousandsticks ran his record to 3-for-3 at Gulfstream this winter in the $155,000 Kitten's Joy S. for three-year-olds, edging away in the final sixteenth to beat pacesetter Redland Rebels by a neck under Mario Gutierrez.

Victorious in a Dec. 6 maiden and a Jan. 11 allowance, Thousandsticks landed his stakes debut in a time 1:40.23 for 1 1/16 miles on the turf. He paid $8.60. Redland Rebels finished three parts of a length ahead of Alpyland, the 6-5 favorite.

Owned by Silverton Hill and trained by Brian Lynch, the son of Twirling Candy is now 3-for-5.

"He's a horse that seems to be thriving off racing right now and he's a robust, strong little colt so I think we'll definitely run him back here (Colonel Liam S. on Feb. 28) and set him up for a race at Keeneland and hopefully Derby day," Lynch said.
