Last updated: 2/24/16 6:39 PM

Mohaymen, the top-ranked Kentucky Derby (G1) contender on the East Coast and

unbeaten in four starts,

tops a field of six entered in Saturday's $400,000 Fountain of Youth (G2) at

Gulfstream Park, which offers points on a 50-20-10-5 scale to the top four

finishers.

Cathryn Sophia, a rising star in the 3-year-old filly ranks, is

the filly to beat in Saturday's $200,000 Davona Dale (G2) at Gulfstream. The

Kentucky Oaks (G1) contender will stretch out to a mile against six rivals.

Besides the featured Fountain of Youth and Davona Dale, the $100,000 Gulfstream

Park Sprint (G3) will also be held on the main track Saturday and X Y Jet will

bring a four-race win streak into the 6 1/2-furlong test. The up-and-coming

sprinter is prepping for a planned start in the Dubai Golden Sheen (G1) at

Meydan next month.

Gulfstream will also offer a quartet of turf stakes. Breeders' Cup Juvenile

Fillies Turf (G1) winner Catch a Glimpse will return to the races in the

Herecomesthebride (G3). Ft. Lauderdale (G2) scorer Heart to Heart heads a group

of nine older horses in the Canadian Turf (G3). And the Palm Beach (G3) and Sand

Springs both shape up as good betting races with large and competitive fields.
