National Broodmare Sale begins

After a rewarding weanling session at the National

Sale in Queensland, Australia, last week, Magic Millions kicks off a five-day run with its

National Broodmare Sale on Monday. With more than 1,100 broodmares and racing prospects

being offered, the sale continues through Friday.

Among highlights this year, Lot No. 993, multiple-stakes winning GEORDOBA (Cordoba) received a recent boost when four-year-old Zyzxx (Danehill) ran

away to victory at Cranbourne. Lot 1106, a full sister to Australian champion

and multiple Grade 1 winner Ha Ha

(Danehill), is sure to draw plenty of attention, following an easy win by Zeagle

Eagle (Zabeel), who won for Gai Waterhouse at Gosford.

The National

sale concludes with the three-day yearling sale on June 12-13

with two select sessions. The sale's final day, June 14, will feature a

General session immediately followed by the Heinrich Racing Reduction.
