a 5.45 percent increase from the gross of $204,830,100 for 2,350 horses during

the corresponding period in 2014. The average of $98,175 is 12.63 percent above

last year's $87,162, while the median of $40,000 equals last year's figure.

The session-topper, who is out of the First Samurai mare

Karate Gal, was consigned by Shawhan Place, agent for Glendalough. The colt is

from the family of stakes winners Cool Spell, Our Double Play, Coarsegold and

Goldspell.

The session's highest-priced broodmare or broodmare

prospect is JUDY LEGEND, who sold to Ashview Farm for $180,000. Sheltowee Sales,

agent, consigned the four-year-old daughter of Medaglia d'Oro out of the Grade 2

stakes-winning Quiet American mare Andujar.

The November Sale continues through Friday. Sessions start

at 10 a.m. The entire sale is streamed live at Keeneland.com.
